Frequently asked questions
Who is Dafaaty for?
Traders first: wholesalers, distributors and anyone who buys and sells on credit and keeps track of customers, suppliers and cheques. Then small single-branch shops: grocers, household goods, clothing, spare parts, stationers and the like. A business with several branches, a team and a point of sale has its own app, RED.
I sell on credit to many customers. How does it help?
Every credit invoice is put on the customer’s account automatically and every collection comes off it, so you know each customer’s balance at any moment. The statement lists every movement with the balance after it, and you send it as a PDF on WhatsApp. Post-dated cheques are tracked with a reminder before they fall due.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You record invoices, receipts and payments in everyday market terms, and Dafaaty works out the balances, stock and profit. A built-in guide explains every step.
Which devices does it run on?
On Android phones with the Dafaaty app from Google Play, and on any phone, tablet or computer in the browser — you can also install it on your home screen like an app. One account on all your devices.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored in the cloud and protected by Google sign-in; nobody but you and your team can see it. You can export a full copy at any time.
Does it need the internet?
Yes. Dafaaty works online so your data is kept safe and the same on all your devices. If the connection drops while you record, the entry is kept and uploads by itself when it is back.
My data is in Excel. Do I start from scratch?
No. Import customers, suppliers, items and their balances from an Excel or CSV file in minutes.
Does it work for more users, devices or branches?
A Dafaaty plan covers one user on two devices (a phone and a computer, say). Every extra seat — another user with their own role, or a third device — is bought by the year, and you manage the connected devices from your account. Several branches, a cash box per branch and a point of sale are in the RED app on the Business plan.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your data stays exactly as it is, and you take the Merchant plan to carry on. No card is needed to sign up.
How do I pay?
